On 20th May 2025, Sean, our CEO, was proud to contribute to the PDG Drugs and Substance Misuse Conference. He delivered a 20-minute talk offering a frontline perspective on the realities of supporting individuals who often fall through the cracks of mainstream addiction services. Drawing on real casework, the session explored the importance of trust-building, patience, and rapid, non-judgemental support, particularly for those with complex trauma and a history of failed interventions.
With lived experience at the heart of our work, we highlighted how peer support, advocacy, and abstinence-based counselling can come together to create lasting change. The online conference brought together leading voices and practitioners committed to improving outcomes in the field of addiction and recovery.
