Rehabit is delighted to have received £20,000 from the National Lottery Awards for All scheme, helping us continue our work with people affected by drug and alcohol addiction in North London.
The funding will support our one-to-one counselling and peer support for people who may not have the funds, confidence or stability to access other forms of help. Many of the people we work with have fallen through the gaps between addiction, mental health and community services. This award will help us respond quickly, offer consistent support, and give people a better chance of rebuilding their lives.
Our work is rooted in lived experience, professional counselling and strong local partnerships. We are especially grateful to National Lottery players, whose support makes this kind of community-based work possible.
Sean Robinson, CEO of Rehabit, said:
“Rehabit works with people who are often facing addiction, isolation and very limited options. This funding gives us the chance to offer practical, human support at the point when someone is ready to take a step towards recovery. We are hugely grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund and to National Lottery players for backing our work.”
Rehabit will use the funding to strengthen its counselling and peer support offer, helping more people find stability, connection and hope in recovery.
