Rehabit has received a generous £5,000 donation from an Islington resident who has asked to remain anonymous.
The donor wanted to do something practical within his own community and support a local organisation where his contribution could make a direct difference.
The donation will help Rehabit continue providing free one-to-one counselling and lived-experience peer support for adults affected by drug and alcohol problems, particularly people who may struggle to access the right support elsewhere.
We are enormously grateful for this contribution. Donations of this kind make a real difference to a small charity like Rehabit and help us continue supporting people locally when they need it most.
